Principi attivi
100 g di crema contengono 4 g di alcool benzilico, 5 g di benzocaina 0,10 g di cloroxilenolo.
Eccipienti
Olio vegetale idrogenato, ceresina (paraffina solida), cera d’api gialla, monodigliceridi (di acidi grassi superiori), olio di mais, calcio idrato, sodio borato, PEG 32, sodio laurilsolfato, anidride maleica, eugenolo, sodio calcio EDTA, 8-idrossichinolina, acqua depurata.
Indicazioni
Ustioni minori, eritemi solari, irritazioni cutanee da vari agenti chimico-fisici, punture di insetti. Nella medicazione di escoriazioni, abrasioni e ferite superficiali della pelle.
Controindicazioni / effetti secondari
Ipersensibilita’ ai principi attivi o ad uno qualsiasi degli eccipienti. Il prodotto non e’ idoneo per uso oftalmico.
Posologia
Applicare la crema, in strato sottile ed uniforme direttamente sulla lesione. In caso di lesioni circoscritte, e’ opportuno, in seguito all’applicazione della crema, ricoprire con garza sterile. La medicazione non va rimossa per almeno 48 ore, al fine di non turbare il processo di granulazione. In certi casi la medicazione iniziale non dovra’ essere rimossa e cambiata anche per maggior periodo di tempo, dovendo pero’via via tenerla ben inumidita con il prodotto. Si raccomanda di non s uperare il limite massimo delle 4 applicazioni al giorno, sia negli adulti che nei bambini.
Conservazione
Nessuna precauzione particolare.
Avvertenze
Il medicinale e’ per esclusivo uso esterno. L’uso, specie se prolungato, del prodotto puo’ dare origine a fenomeni di sensibilizzazione. L’efficacia e la sicurezza della benzocaina dipendono da un corretto dosaggio. Pertanto e’ necessario impiegare la quantita’ minima di prodottosufficiente ad ottenere l’effetto desiderato, applicandolo con cautel a nei soggetti con mucose gravemente danneggiate e sede di processi infiammatori che potrebbero causare un assorbimento eccessivo di tale principio attivo. Deve essere utilizzato solo su lesioni non estese e superficiali della cute e per brevi periodi di tempo. Non applicare in vicinanza degli occhi. In caso di ferite profonde, o di punture di insetti disseminate, o di ustioni gravi, o ustioni lievi particolarmente estese consultare sempre il medico prima di utilizzare il prodotto. Se la condizione morbosa per cui questa preparazione viene utilizzata persiste piu’ a lungo, se insorge irritazione, se l’arrossamento, il gonfiore o il dolore persistono o se si ha un’infezione, sospendere l’uso e consultare il proprio medico. Non utilizzare il prodotto nei bambinidi eta’ inferiore ai 6 mesi; se ne raccomanda la somministrazione sol o dopo aver consultato il medico tra i 6 mesi e i 2 anni di eta’.
Interazioni
Effetti indesiderati
L’uso dei prodotti per applicazione topica, specie se prolungato, puo’dare origine a fenomeni di sensibilizzazione. In tal caso interromper e il trattamento ed istituire una terapia idonea. Raramente un elevatoassorbimento della benzocaina puo’ provocare gravi reazioni (incremen to della metaemoglobina, con comparsa di cianosi), in particolare nei bambini e negli anziani, che richiedono un tempestivo intervento ospedaliero.
Gravidanza e allattamento
Non sono note controindicazioni all’uso in caso di gravidanza o allattamento. Si consiglia comunque di consultare il proprio medico prima diassumere il farmaco durante la gravidanza e l’allattamento.

Purpose
For temporary relief of inflammation and pain in the oral cavity:
Warnings
This product contains Foille Scottature. The use of Foille Scottature (Benzocaine) applied to the mouth or gums has been associated with methemoglobinemia (a condition where the amount of oxygen in the blood stream is reduced).
Stop using
immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms and seek medical attention:
- Pale, gray or blue colored skin, lips, or nail beds

Directions
Dissolve one packet of NeutraCaine® in a clean glass of 30 mL of tap water. Distilled, bottled or purified water can also be used. Use immediately after the solution appears clear or nearly clear in the glass, or in about 15 seconds. Stir if necessary
(1) Swish 1/2 the solution in the mouth for 1 min and spit out.
(2) Repeat with the remaining 1/2 of the solution and spit out
